can i use stake from new york with vpn??

VPN doesn't matter if they request KYC. ANY! casinos can request KYC at any time, especially for withdrawals over certain amounts. You'll provide NY driver's license, they'll see you're from restricted jurisdiction and Busted! they'll lock your account and keep the funds per their terms.

"my cousin" anecdotes aren't helpful. Washington is one of the few US states that actually criminalizes online gambling at the player level. If your cousin is doing this, they're risking misdemeanor charges. Unlikely to be prosecuted but legally possible.

Because US gambling law is a mess of contradictory federal and state regulations so your options from NY:
  • Use legal NY online casinos (none exist yet - only sports betting is legal)
  • Use sweepstakes casinos like Stake.us (legal but limited game selection)
  • Risk using offshore casinos with VPN (against terms, potential legal issues, funds at risk)
  • Wait for NY to legalize online casinos (might never happen)
Pick your poison but understand there're risks..
