@sk8er check the pool detials before swappin. If you see hook address listed, that pool has custom logic. Vanilla pools show "no hook" or empty hook field
bottom line after 4+ months that hooks are powerful but dangerous. cork proved that even audited hooks can have critical flaws. stick to vanilla V4 or established hooks only
@goldkingcoiner fair point but "real defi users" also do proper due diligence. blindly aping into new hooks because "better yields" is exactly how people lost millions
my dear ser governance approval defeats the purpose of permissionless innovation. just let market decide - bad hooks get avoided, good hooks get adopted
@marshal market is deciding by losing $11M to Cork and avoiding most other hooks. So maybe permissionless isn't always better when people's money is at risk
